Matrescence Sessions
Are you:
About to become a parent?
Experiencing uncertainty or feeling overwhelmed about integrating motherhood into your identity?
Hoping to make this transition from a place of intention, care, and agency?
Interested in creating structures that will support your psychological growth during this period of immense change?
Matrescence sessions are for you. This is a gently structured 3-part experience in which we will explore your matrescence – the developmental process of becoming a mother – with curiosity and grace. Matrescence sessions blend the psychology and neurobiology of parenthood with your individual life experiences and needs, so that you can navigate the transition into parenthood feeling empowered, supported, and informed.
Matrescence Sessions are scheduled individually and available via Zoom or in-person (RI & Southeastern MA).
Playing with Purpose: A Coaching Group for Early Career Professionals
Psychologists have long theorized about the rich and dynamic period of early adulthood. While the fundamental task of finding one’s place in society — of feeling like you are contributing in a meaningful and genuine way — remains constant, adults in the modern workplace often find themselves feeling untethered as they try to establish a sense of purpose in an increasingly unpredictable and open-ended world.
This group is for you if you are:
Feeling disengaged, stagnant, or directionless in your current role
Plagued by a fear of wasting time, but at the same time unsure of the most valuable way to use your time
Prone to an arrival fallacy (i.e., “I will feel successful/worthy/valuable once I….”)
Trying to find a sense of purpose that transcends a work/life binary
Interested in defining success on your own terms, while recognizing that the best learning is done in community
